The Adige Valley: history, culture, food and wine
Always important communication route between north and south, the Adige Valley is stretching the center of Trentino, in the basin of the river Adige.
Land rich in history, culture, art and nature, extending from the Piana Rotaliana to Rolling Pin and is characterized by a wide valley with vineyards and orchards whose sides stand majestic peaks.
La Piana Rotaliana, thanks to its ancient tradition of wine, can boast a native vine, known throughout the world, Teroldego, full-bodied red and very fragrant.
The Adige Valley offers plenty of holiday for lovers of the sport of cycling and in particular, given that cycling is one of the most popular sports in Trentino. Here are paths of all levels and of any length, such as the famous Cycle valley, or the many routes that go up in altitude.
Also many routes for trekking. Who is looking for more challenging routes can test their skills with one of the many climbing routes that go up to the peaks of the surrounding mountains; among the most beautiful should be mentioned the suggestive via Giovanelli equipped Ravine on Mount Mezzocorona.
Particularly relevant thematic routes, such as the Wine and Dine, a number of food and wine tours to discover the specialties and local products or the Emperor's Fortresses, paths through the sites of military works of the territory.
